About Backsplice

The backsplice is a knot that keeps a braided rope from fraying. At Backsplice, we use a blend of business acumen and technology integration to scale  small to medium sized businesses - we scale businesses without fraying. We do so through process design, improvement, setting and managing to KPI's and then applying technology to optimize business efficiency.

 

Founder and CEO, Eric Bergeron is past member of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), a world wide organization of small to medium business owners applying the methods in Verne Harnishe's Scaling Up, as well as the derivatives such as Traction and Get a Grip by Gino Wickman. Mr. Bergeron was an Accelerator coach within EO helping businesses reach the minimum revenue requirements to become full members of EO.

 

Mr. Bergeron has a degree in business from Northeastern as well as two MBA's from the school of hard knocks. He has worked extensively in technology, especially in financial services and broadly internet technologies.

 

In his private life, he has been a life long Scout leader applying those same leadership skills to business that he trains young adults on. An Eagle Scout, he has mentored over 30 young adults to earn the same rank. It's a point of personal pride as well as paying his own experience forward to future generations.
